Pitching Competition: Startup Carnival

Everyone loves pitching competitions in startup events, right? Well, at least we at Stream Festival do and here is one for you!

*drumrolls*

Let us introduce you STARTUP CARNIVAL pitching competition powered by Business Tampere! The competition takes place on October 3rd at Stream Festival Main Stage, in Kuivaamo, Tampere. On this second year of Stream Festival, we are looking for the most promising early-stage B2B deep tech startups to compete. Ten startups will be chosen via applications.

WHY?
Then let’s talk about the prize. Two tickets to Slush and a service package. Well, probably we don’t have to explain to you what Slush is but the service package might be a little question mark. Service package is still building up for this year, but last year it included mentoring how to meet investors (what a prep for Slush!). And of course, pitching on the Main Stage of Stream Festival opens up the opportunity to showcase your startup in front of other startups, investors and corporates working on your industry. Also, let’s not forget about networking with key players of deep tech innovation network.

HOW?
The application is already open here and the deadline for applications is Monday 16th September 2019. The finalists will be published by Thursday 19th September 2019. The application should include the basic investor pitch deck. On the stage, introduce your startup with the NABC model (Need-Approach-Benefit-Competition). The pitchings will be in English! Ten startups will be selected from the applications by a jury that has investors, business developers and industry representatives.

HOW TO IN 3 STEPS:
1. Apply here before Sep 16th.
2. Finalists published by Sep 19th.
3. Prepare your pitch!

NOTE! In case your startup won’t get chosen in the finals, the Stream Festival might still be the event for your early-stage startup. Maybe check out why attend?
